This is not an appointment for care but an opportunity for you to meet Dr. Michals and ask him questions about whether chiropractic is the right fit for your healthcare, without committing to an appointment.  We understand not all chiropractic doctors are the same and we want you to find the right one for YOU without sales pitches. This is a consultation, and no medical advice will be given without a thorough examination of your condition during your first appointment.

Call our office at 715-362-5522 to schedule your 1st appointment or fill out the form below with your questions and we'll get back to you. 

After scheduling your first appointment, we will need some information from you.  Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment to fill out your new patient forms. If you think you will need more time, please arrive earlier. We'll start by asking to take a copy of your health insurance card and ID. After your file is set up and ready, you'll be called back to the exam/adjusting room. To help make families and kids more comfortable we offer our family adjusting room, with changing table, toys and more space.

After Dr. Michals completes his exam and analysis he'll discuss with you and help develop a plan to get you back on track. Dr. Michals normally adjusts the spine on the first appointment and requires a follow-up appointment soon after to evaluate how the first adjustment went. After, he will discuss a plan for moving forward to optimum health. 

X-rays and Records

X-rays help the doctor pinpoint the source of your condition and can show any "red flags". Therefore, x-rays are necessary and taken at the doctors discretion. If x-rays are needed but you do not wish to have it done for any reason, Dr. Michals will not administer an adjustment. If you have x-ray records at another facility that are less than 2 years old we may request those records. (You'll need to sign a release form with us or through the other facility). Same for medical records from previous chiropractors or hospitals. Our office will determine whether records are necessary from your old chiropractor or primary care physician and request that information be sent.
